Shoot One
In this photo, i used framing to stage our model central to the photography. I used manual settings to focus my lens onto the subject. I wanted to have colour to work together and have my item of clothing stand out against the background.
Personally, this is my favourite photo from the shoot. The perfect balance between natural blue skies and the gritty buildings in the background balances the two natures of my shoots. As well as this, we have our logo dead central in the frame, advertising the brand strongly. The lights onto the blue and greens of the t-shirt work together aesthetically.

Shoot 2
I decided to do my rural shoots in the night, this is because i still feel like to advertise these brands i have to have lots of shots that make the clothing stand out. Because of this, i used manual focus and low iso with flash to have the t shirt colour and brand stand out in comparison to the dark skies in the background. I wanted this photo to frame the balance of nature in the sky and the plants by having a contrast of colour.
Framing was important in this shot. It was key to me to ingulf the model within the plants. I think the way the green leaves and blue t shirt pick up the colour from the flash looks almost hypnotic. The green surrounding the model works for a beautiful rural shot with the form of nature standing out.
The levels in framing between background and foreground are particularly interesting in this photo. I love the way the plants look like they are attacking towards the camera and add a lovely depth of field. It draws audiences attention to the brightly contrasted colour of the jacket in the central of the frame and the logo pops perfectly. The light shadows across the models face make her look particularly mysterious and dangerous. This is something that was key to me during the whole shoot, to make my model still look powerful and intimidating no matter the location and theme of the shoot.
Another fantastic low angle with the model looking directly into the lense adds an extremely powerful independent view of our model. The way she works into the plants but stands out so perfectly makes her look like she is fighting against nature and winning. I used flash to gain reflective reaction from the jacket, and i reduced the ISO significantly so i would capture the bold greens of the plants but reduce the glare of the sky between the leaves.
In terms of framing, it was important for me to capture the lower part of the model and his stance. I believe the crossing of the arms is a powerful pose that makes the model seem dominant within the photography. The white against the black is lightened by the low ISO in the photgraphy.
