P4) Edit a Range of photographic Images for a Specific Product
Contact Sheet
During the editing stage of my photos, i used Adobe Photoshop as i believe it is the most suited program for photo correction. I used a variation of tools, notably the red eye removed, spot patch fixer but the most useful and important tool at changing the style of my photos was the Camera Raw Filter. This tool allowed me to individually change a variation of settings, such as the contract, colours and shadows. This meant i could make my photos change enough to change the mood, but not too much as to destroy the photo.
These are the final products of my photographs in a before and after comparison during the editing stage.

I didn't want to completely change the style or focus of my shots in my edits. It was important to me to increase the overall clarity and colour of the shots rather than change the entire mood. Because of this, i used slight adjustments to make them warmer, and remove large obstructing spots or hair in the wrong places as well as red eye. Also, with the reflective blue jacket in some shots it appeared harsh to me, and i wanted to change the light and dark levels to balance these out.
I selected these images specifically as i believe they fit the purpose of my online lookbook perfectly. Firstly, they are all of a high technical standard in terms of quality, aesthetic and composition. Secondly, they feature the heavy branded photography that i want to advertise for fashion photography. The models are well dressed and presented well and fit perfectly onto a website style lookbook.
